SORESI is a web application for Austria, based on the microsimulation model EUROMOD. It is a web-based tool for policy-makers and the broader public to simulate policy reforms and analyse their social impact.

COORDINATE facilitates improved access to existing survey data on child wellbeing, increase longitudinal survey capacity across Europe, extend the Growing Up in Digital Europe (GUIDE/Eurocohort) survey network, and initiate the GUIDE survey with a large-scale cohort pilot survey in Croatia, Finland, France and Ireland.

The annual European Conference on the Day of Persons with Disabilities is part of the EU’s efforts to promote the mainstreaming of disability issues and to raise awareness of the challenges faced by persons with disabilities. Magdi Birtha from the European Centre acted as Rapporteur.

In 2008, the European Centre pioneered by publishing the first report with facts and figures on long-term care that was followed by a second edition in 2012. These reports provided a broad picture of the state of play of care needs of the population and of care systems. They served as a basis for informing the development of ageing and care policies in an international comparative perspective over the past decades. Considering the changed context conditions and policy developments as well as new data sources, we compiled a report with updates in specific areas and new chapters outlining current and future challenges during the ongoing digital and demographic transformation.

Supported by the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, the report gathers new knowledge and shows trends in demand and supply of long-term care in Europe that will be halpful for policymakers and researchers alike.

This study concerns the collection of background material and drafting of a report on contracting chains and recruitment patterns of posted third-country nationals within the European Union.
