Many people are not aware of their rights and protection in the field of work and employment. The European Commission organised a series of local events focusing on one aspect in particular: reasonable accommodation at the workplace for persons with disabilities.

This microsimulation analysis related to three different scenarios of the introduction and extension of the “family bonus” by the Austrian Government. Thus, the net distribution effects of the (planned) reforms could be mirrored.

Gender has an important influence on how needs for long-term care arise, evolve, are experienced and addressed. This project aimed to develop a conceptual framework to address the gender dimension in LTC for the WHO Europe region.

The European Cenre conducted tailor-made training courses for civil servants of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in three selected topics of social welfare: labour market and social policies, future of work, and long-term care.
