This year's annual report provides an overview of our activities, research projects, publications, webinars, peer review meetings, trainings and media presence in the area of social welfare.
Sustainable development is a key challenge in the local, national and global context. Our contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) relevant to social and health policy are highlighted in each of the 26 projects described in this report.
With 17 ongoing and 13 completed projects we were able to cover a wide range of issues at stake, and an extended number of countries in the UNECE Region.
Since 2001, all EU Member States developed bi-annual National Action Plans for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion (NAPincl). The EU indicators in the field of poverty and social exclusion monitor the achievements of these National Action Plans.
