The NORDCARE study in Austria is based on the international NORDCARE survey and investigates the working conditions of the long-term care (LTC) workforce in the home care and residential care sector. This report in German language shows specific insights for Upper Austria regarding the sociodemographic characteristics of the LTC workforce, employment characteristics, characteristics of people cared for and task-specific profiles by qualification background. Furthermore, working conditions (e.g. experiences of teamwork, burdens and demands, reconciliation of work and family) in the LTC sector are assessed from the perspective of care professionals, including factors that significantly impact working conditions in LTC.
