Our colleagues Leonard Geyer, Sonila Danaj and Nikko Bilitza presented the findings from the GDPoweR project in Warsaw on September 11-12, 2025. The event also featured a keynote presentation by Becky Wright, a panel discussion with Polish stakeholders, namely a trade union representative, the deputy director of the Polish data protection authority and a representative of the Ministry of Labour and presentations of other research in the fields of platform work, industrial relations, data rights and algorithmic management. The second day was dedicated to mutual learning even between social partners in the location-based platform economy, namely in the food-delivery and ride-hailing sectors. We thank our partners from the Institute of Structural Research (IBS) for kindly organizing and hosting the event.
