On 27 March, Kai Leichsenring and Alexandre Sidorenko presented the recently published book “A Research Agenda for Ageing and Social Policy” together with many of the 33 contributors. An overview was given about the integrated life-course perspective that guided the 15 chapters. Following an outline of the historical development of ageing research and policies at the international level, selected authors presented some ‘appetizers’ of their chapters. Participants thus got a first impression of the contributions some of which will be discussed more detailed in our future International Seminars.
