On 6 July 2021, the Spanish Region of Castilla y Léon held a Day of Quality in Social Services and invited international experts to contribute by pre-registered presentations. Kai Leichsenring presented his considerations on quality assurance and the necessity to develop a new paradigm of governing hitherto fragmented long-term care systems and related processes to improve the quality of integrated care across services and facilities.
