On 16 and 17 December, the partners of the Con3Post project participated in a research seminar where the data from one year of research work and the joint visit results were presented. Each partner organization has been mapping the trend of third country nationals posting in the construction sector in three regions: Central Europe, Southern Europe and Northern Europe. Our colleagues Leonard Geyer and Sonila Danaj presented findings from the Austrian case study. Other case studies discussed were: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia presented by the project lead partner, ZRC SAZU; Morocco/Tunisia, Italy and Belgium presented by Ca'Foscari University of Venice; Poland and Ukraine presented by Centre for Research in Migration, University of Warsaw; and Estonia/Filand presented by University of Jyvaskyla. All presenters shared the fieldwork findings and discussed the similiarities and differences among the regions. The seminar will be followed up by the regional reports to be published in 2020.
