This expert workshop in German language served to exchange experiences regarding the quality assurance of agencies working in the recruitment of health and care workers as well as of personal carers in Austria and Germany. German participants were particularly interested to learn more about the Austrian quality certificate ÖQZ24. This voluntary certificate can be obtained by recruitment agencies of personal carers in Austria. In Germany, there is an ongoing initiative to improve quality assurance in the broader context of personell recruitment in the area of health and care workers. The workshop helped German experts to better understand the approach, procedures, criteria and cost of the ÖQZ24, and to ponder potential learnings for the envisaged reform in Germany.
