DESCRIPTION

This report summarizes the methods used to develop a governance assessment methodology, explains this framework in detail, and suggests and presents methods to perform assessments of relevance, coherence, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, impact and sustainability of innovations for Active and Healthy Ageing (AHA) to be implemented in their respective target contexts, developed within the ASTAHG-project. The process developed is based on a combination of AHA impact evaluation metrics and innovation assessment criteria. It attempts to provide a structured methodology to prioritise AHA innovations in a transparent manner, starting with an assessment of their relevance in a particular setting, and followed by an assessment of geographic transferability, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, impact and sustainability
