The international InCARE conference ‘Supporting social innovation in LTC’ was held on 28 September 2023 in Vienna. The conference was opened by Susanna Ulinski (DG Employment) who presented on the European Care Strategy and related funding opportunities. The event brought together project partners from all 6 consortium countries as well as external LTC policy experts. It included presentations on results from the pilot projects in Austria, North Macedonia, and Spain, policy recommendations for these three countries and an overview of evaluation in the InCARE project. Conference participants also had various opportunities to discuss issues important for LTC policy development such as sustainability of pilot projects, access to quality LTC, trainings as a tool to develop LTC systems and person-centred care.
