ECoPP project milestone: Peer review process

DATE

01/06/2023

The main aim of the ECoPP is to offer a genuine forum for practitioners at all levels of funding implementation to exchange good practices on the use of the partnership principle. Working in six sub-groups, ECoPP members have worked to share their diverse experiences of implementing the partnership principle and learn from each other about the challenges and solutions in applying the partnership principle across the EU. In order to deepen this knowledge, a peer review process on the products developed by the sub-groups was agreed during the second ECoPP meeting. The peer review process began in April 2023 and will be completed at the end of June 2023 with the following three peer reviews between sub-group members taking place in May 2023:

  • Peer review on “Improvements regarding the policy frame for partnership” (sub-group 1 and 3)
  • Peer review on “ECCP recommendations” (sub-group 2 and 4)
  • Peer review on “Tools for implementing the partnership principle” (sub-group 5 and 6)

The peer reviews offered a participative, innovative and collaborative approach that ensured ‘same eye-level’ peer learning among members from different stakeholder backgrounds and country contexts on the different sub-group products. Sub-group members are currently incorporating the feedback received by their peers in order to finalise their products.
