We are happy to annouce that our colleagues Leonard Geyer and Nicolas Prinz were awarded the prize for the best poster presented at the ESPAnet 2022 conference for their poster "Happy meals, happy riders?". The poster presents novel data on food delivery riders' working conditions in Austria and highlights differences between Austrian and non-EU citizens. Austrian riders are more likely to enjoy their job and to work part-time. Non-EU citizens tend to work longer hours and enjoy their job less. However, both groups show similar levels of job satisfaction regarding their pay and working conditions.
