Colleagues Cassandra Simmons and Ricardo Rodrigues, in co-authorship with Marta Szebehely (Stockholm University), recently published an article in the journal Health & Social Care in the Community entitled “Working conditions in the long‐term care sector: A comparative study of migrant and native workers in Austria and Sweden”. The article finds that working conditions in Sweden are comparatively worse than in Austria and that in both countries, non-European migrants are particularly more likely to face a number of precarious conditions.
