European Centre’s honorary consultant Cornelius Goos presented at the international scientific and practical symposium on the Formation of Social Policy in Solving Alcohol Problems in Lviv (Ukraine) on 9 April 2019. 150 participants from local administration, treatment centres, non-governmental agencies and scientific institutions from Austria, Sweden, Italy, Spain and Slovenia gathered to develop sub-national policies and action to reduce alcohol related harm. The international symposium was organised by the Alcohol Policy Network Europe (APN) in co-operation with the Polish national alcohol agency (PARPA) and the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
