4 key principles for promoting social innovation in LTC

Our recent Policy brief shows that local innovators should shift focus away from 'best practice' initiatives and towards defining the 'best fit for purpose' initiatives. We highlight the need to match investment in social innovation design and development with investment in scale-up and sustainability of social innovation approaches, in order to increase societal impact. We propose four key principles that can guide social innovators in long-term care:

BB Summer School of evaluation in social policies

The European Centre announces its BB Summer School taking place online on 25-27 August 2021. It aims to enhance skills and knowledge in commissioning and/or conducting social policy-oriented Monitoring and Evaluation projects and programmes. It will stimulate an interactive, participatory, and reflective learning among the participants and will bring together professionals to exchange and enhance their knowledge and expertise in monitoring and evaluation, and to contribute to regional cooperation for European integration. The BB Summer School targets professionals working particularly in or with Western Balkan and Eastern Partnership countries. Deadline for applications: 10 May 2021
