This is the third of a sequence of books written by a transnational partnership and funded by the European Union, first under Comenius and then under Grundtvig. Each of the publications highlights aspects of developing learning opportunities for older people.
This publication is a training manual for those who work with older people - as adult educators, as carers or as community activists. It will help those who train such practitioners to identify the barriers which prevent so many older people from engaging in learning activities, and will enable them to overcome those barriers. It contains a comprehensive training programme with detailed descriptions of all the activities and supporting group materials.
