ACTIVITIES/MILESTONES

The European Centre conducted tailor-made training courses for civil servants of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. The training comprised three training courses in selected topics in social welfare, each lasting 2 days. The training courses comprised the following topics:

  • Labour market and social policies: active labour market policy & measures for vulnerable groups (e.g. risk profiling, outreach, youth, long-term unemployed, disabled); integrated case management system (interface between labour market and social policy); social services; and gender, gender statistics and age
  • Future of Work: work 4.0 (digitalisation and automatisation processes and its implications on work); social innovation and workplace innovation; socially innovative entrepreneurship; and social partners and social dialogue
  • Long-term care: long-term care (coordination and integration): deinstitutionalisation & intersectionality; and rights of persons with disabilities
