Research in the time of COVID-19

Under the heading “Research in the time of Covid-19” we publish a range of blogs connecting our evidence, thoughts, new ideas, hopes and fears to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic for society, social research, labour markets, social and health policies.

Ricardo Rodrigues has presented ongoing research carried out in the European Centre at the conference of the Austrian Association of Health Economics (ATHEA) in Vienna. The presentations focused on the AKCOVID survey in a jointly organized panel on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health and care (joint research with Cassandra Simmons from European Centre, Andrea E. Schmidt from GÖG and Nadia Steiber from Vienna University) and on the REGRESS project that studied the distributional impact of the abolishment of the Pflegeregresss in Austria.
