Promoting Competencies for the Care and Healthcare of Older Migrants

In this webinar, different approaches to supporting competences for the care of older migrants were presented. We discussed the transfer of skills for diversity-sensitive care based on the course Transcultural medicine and diversity care at the Meidcal University Vienna and the Erasmus+-funded DI.S.C.O.P.M.B. project. We also launched the e-learning course of the DI.S.C.O.P.M.B. project with this meeting. This was a German language event.

The Future of Research on Ageing and Social Policy

Over the past year, the European Centre organised five international Seminars to launch and discuss the book A Research Agenda for Ageing and Social Policy, edited by Kai Leichsenring and Alexandre Sidorenko. To conclude this series, we wanted to examine the changing national and international contexts and potential next steps with authors and other stakeholders for research on ageing.
