Travel by air

The most frequent flights to and from Vienna International Airport Schwechat are offered by Austrian Airlines; most other European airlines have regular flights to Vienna as well, and so do Skyeurope and Airberlin.

Airport Transfers

The International Airport „Wien-Schwechat“ is located approximately 20 km from the the city center. From the Airport to the city you can take the Airportbus (30 min.- EUR 6) or the CAT train (12 min – EUR 9).

Private Transfers

Transfers at a special one-way rate of EUR 28 for a car (max. 4 persons) can be booked at Airport Driver, either online, by telephone or email. Your driver will wait for you at the company’s hospitality desk in the airport arrival hall.

Three major stations connect Vienna with the surrounding European countries. For detailed information, please have a look at www.oebb.at.

Travel by car

Highways are connecting Vienna with major Austrian cities and with the surrounding countries. Vienna has a large number of parking-garages. Its park and ride service offers a comfortable travel solution for everybody.

Public Transport

The public transport network of trams, buses, underground and commuter trains extending beyond the city’s limits, is vast and dependable. (www.wienerlinien.at).
