Sarbani Chakraborty
Sarbani Chakraborty is working as a Senior Health Specialist with the Europe and Central Asia Region of the World Bank. She is currently leading a study on long-term care/aging in the new EU accession countries. Sarbani has a MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a PhD in Health Economics/Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins University. Her areas of technical interest/expertise include: health financing, projecting health expenditures and public/private mix in the financing and delivery of health services. She is based at the World Bank office in Sofia, Bulgaria.
